Hudson Road began in 2016 as the brain child of Tim Ferry and Emma Swensen (who later married.) The band started in Cedar Falls, Iowa, playing primarily for private events, small markets and simply for fun. As Hudson’s success began to grow, the band began playing throughout the state with audience sizes varying from coffee shops to a NASCAR speedway.

In fall of 2018, the act decided to move across the country to Austin, TX, in pursuit of more music opportunities, sun shine and tacos. During their time in ATX, Hudson Road was found playing private parties, bars, markets and anywhere else that presented an opportunity.

In 2o21, Hudson Road relocated and settled in Des Moines, IA. They’ve since been taking the metro music scene by storm while also starting their family. The duo is regularly found playing in local watering holes, private events and much more!
